Madge Lake is set in beautiful Duck Mountain (Saskatchewan) Provincial Park. One hour from Yorkton, it is centrally located among Saskatoon, Regina and Winnipeg near the Manitoba-Saskatchewan boundary.

Madge Lake Golf Resort sits atop rolling hills wooded with aspen, fir and birch trees. Deer are often seen on the course, with moose and bears sometimes seen in the park around the course. The course is relatively short at 5522 yards (5049 m) making it ideal for beginners, while experts will find its undulating fairways challenging. Accuracy and a good short game will be rewarded because of the greens' varied slopes.

Madge Lake's starting hole is a good introduction to the challenges ahead - there is a slope in the landing area of the fairway. You will want to think carefully about strategy right off the first tee.

Another interesting hole is the 359 yard 10th. Here, golfers who can hit the long ball frequently attempt cutting the corner of the dogleg in an effort to set up a very short approach. But beware - water and trees make any mistakes costly.
